For reference, I am 5'4, 130lbs, 34B and this dress fit me like a glove. I have bigger hips/butt and it wasnt too short. The stretch is great, but not to the point that it kept riding up. Definitely get your true/ smaller size since I could see the fabric looking weird if the dress is big.
